- Distressed Debt Analyst The Distressed Debt Analyst is an important contributor on the Leveraged Finance team reporting to a Senior Investment Professional.
Responsibilities
- Performs research and analysis in support of the team's investment decision-making process. Senior Investment Analysts demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision on day-to-day tasks.
- Identifies risk and return drivers, develops and models forward-looking scenarios, analyzes relative value, and provides investment recommendations for positioning within assigned sectors.
- Builds relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate the analysis of investment opportunities.
- Collaborates successfully with other Nationwide Investment groups to advance our clients' best interests.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Nationwide Investments employs a research-driven, team-oriented, and results-focused investment process to manage our clients' portfolios.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of corporate and debt structuring, including bank loans.
- Some travel may be required.

Skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree; MBA or CFA preferred
- Experienced understanding of credit research
- Proficient high yield and leveraged loan credit researcher
- Proficient in Excel; prior Bloomberg experience
- Demonstrates presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and organize work priorities
- Results driven, self-motivated, and intellectually inquisitive
- Positive, hardworking, proactive, and professional
- Highly collaborative and team oriented
- Critical and creative thinker willing to express opinions and views

- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation
- Please be aware that the salary ranges listed below reflect full-time compensation.
- Actual compensation may be prorated based on the number of hours worked relative to a full-time schedule.
- $106,500.00-$177,500.00
- Note on Compensation for Part-Time Roles: Please be aware that the salary ranges listed below reflect full-time compensation.
- The national salary range for Senior Investment Analyst: $106,500.00-$177,500.00
