  • Distressed Debt Analyst The Distressed Debt Analyst is an important contributor on the Leveraged Finance team reporting to a Senior Investment Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Performs research and analysis in support of the team's investment decision-making process. Senior Investment Analysts demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision on day-to-day tasks.
  • Identifies risk and return drivers, develops and models forward-looking scenarios, analyzes relative value, and provides investment recommendations for positioning within assigned sectors.
  • Builds relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate the analysis of investment opportunities.
  • Collaborates successfully with other Nationwide Investment groups to advance our clients' best interests.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Nationwide Investments employs a research-driven, team-oriented, and results-focused investment process to manage our clients' portfolios.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of corporate and debt structuring, including bank loans.
  • Some travel may be required.

Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree; MBA or CFA preferred
  • Experienced understanding of credit research
  • Proficient high yield and leveraged loan credit researcher
  • Proficient in Excel; prior Bloomberg experience
  • Demonstrates presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and organize work priorities
  • Results driven, self-motivated, and intellectually inquisitive
  • Positive, hardworking, proactive, and professional
  • Highly collaborative and team oriented
  • Critical and creative thinker willing to express opinions and views

Compensation

  • Please be aware that the salary ranges listed below reflect full-time compensation.
  • Actual compensation may be prorated based on the number of hours worked relative to a full-time schedule.
  • $106,500.00-$177,500.00
  • Note on Compensation for Part-Time Roles: Please be aware that the salary ranges listed below reflect full-time compensation.
  • The national salary range for Senior Investment Analyst: $106,500.00-$177,500.00
  • The expected starting salary range for Senior Investment Analyst: $106,500.00-$177,500.00
