About the role
- Assist with the installation of groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells under the direction of experienced staff.
- Participate in the preparation of site-specific Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) and follow safety protocols during field activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of site investigations, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, surface water, and sediment sampling.
- You will work closely with senior team members to support environmental investigation and remediation projects across the state of Delaware.
- Your role will primarily involve field-based work and data documentation, with opportunities to grow into technical reporting and project support responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or a related field (required).
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Nice to have
- 0-2 years of experience in environmental consulting, geology, or a related discipline (internship experience a plus).
- Preferred Training & Certifications
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER (preferred
- or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Skills
- Collect and record detailed field data, including geological and environmental observations, using field logs and tablet-based tools.
