About the role
- Our teams take on challenging projects that keep communities safe, supply chains moving, and the country connected.
- This includes planning, directing, and overseeing the activities of employees engaged in construction work.
- This position is classified as "safety-sensitive." Essential Functions - Coordinates daily tasks according to priorities and plans.
Responsibilities
- Develops and manages quality standards for sites
- Ability to drive projects to completion on time and within budget
- Customer service skills to communicate with inspectors and administration, developing a positive relationship
Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a supervisory or related role with proven leadership skills
- A working knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and repair of structures
- Experience training, mentoring, and supervising workers
- Ability to successfully organize, plan, and prioritize work
- Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
- In accordance with the NPEA, preference in hiring and employment shall be given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation who meet the minimum qualifications for the position applied for.
