About the role
- Job Description: Construction Management / Field Operations Opportunity - The Project Manager oversees subcontractors installing HVAC systems on multi-family construction projects.
- This role is responsible for construction management, subcontractor coordination, quality control, scheduling, builder and general contractor relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards.
- Essential Duties/Responsibilities*: · Assists in all phases of HVAC Multi-Family construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Meets Builder supervisors on job sites to work through any issues with installations or design.
- Manages all pertinent production related issues with homebuilders in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Builds rapport and fosters long-term relationships with builder superintendents.
Requirements
- Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work overtime with little notice
- weekend hours may occasionally be required.
- Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
- Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
Nice to have
- 3-5 years of experience in Construction Management, Multi-Family Construction, Commercial Construction, Field Supervision, or HVAC Production Management
- HVAC trade school certification
- Completed college coursework
- Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

- Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.

- Related experience may be substituted for education
- Partial time spent in an office environment
- Partial time spent in a field environment (hot attics, crawl spaces, uneven terrain, construction sites and finished homes).
- Travel by vehicle to and from work locations
- Proactive mindset
- Mechanical aptitude
