About the role

  • Client Solutions is a key member of Hamilton Lane's Canada Client Solutions team, supporting the firm's fundraising, business development, and ongoing client service activities.
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, balancing multiple projects and stakeholders while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • This role is well-suited to a highly motivated, analytically minded team player who is eager to deepen their knowledge of private markets and play a visible role in growing the firm's business.

Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising and business development
  • Help maintain market maps, prospect lists, and sales pipelines, ensuring information is current and accurate in firm systems (e.g., CRM).
  • Support the delivery of client reporting and servicing to meet agreed requirements and service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners across the firm to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative portfolio and product analysis to support client conversations and fundraising efforts.
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of Hamilton Lane's private markets solutions, structures, and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling client materials.

Requirements

  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in financial services or a related finance role, with exposure to clients or external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
