About the role
- The Food Assembly Production Manager will oversee day-to-day operations within Manly Man Co.'s food assembly production area during peak seasonal periods.
- This is a temporary seasonal position expected to run through February 12, supporting our busiest seasons - Christmas and Valentine's Day.
- Overtime opportunities will be offered during peak production periods for high performing staff.
Responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM What you'll do Lead, coordinate, and manage daily operations of the food assembly production floor.
- Maintain efficient workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
- Maintain documentation for lot tracking, labeling, and food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Nice to have
- Train, supervise, and motivate seasonal production staff to achieve output and quality goals.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
- Conduct ongoing quality checks to uphold product consistency and brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies
- communicate needs proactively.
- Enforce and model best practices in workplace safety (OSHA compliance).
- Collaborate with leadership on production planning and execution during high-volume seasons Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience as a manager in food production, assembly, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Proven experience supervising or managing production staff.
