- Chemotherapy/Infusion RN is to administer simple to complex infusion therapy for chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments to patients while working in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

- The Chemotherapy RN is responsible for assessing, prioritizing and monitoring the patient under their care with strong critical thinking skills.
- Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in the assessment, management, and follow-up care of extravasation.
- Administers all medication/blood products using correct product, dosage, route, time and technique.
- Follows infusion policy and guidelines.
- Communicates all pertinent information and any interventions to physician.
- Assures nursing charges are accurate and complete after each visit.
