About the role
- It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment.
- The editor should be highly skilled at editing stories about stock and other market movements and trends, as well as stories about investing off developments in the news.
- The ideal candidate would have extensive editing experience, as well as broad knowledge of the financial markets and company financials.
Responsibilities
- Edit enterprise pieces with a longer turnaround, working with reporters to build an engaging narrative.
- Work with the reporters to develop story ideas and how to build the story from the ground up with the proper quotes, facts and visuals.

Requirements
- Minimum 10 years editing experience in financial news.
- Minimum 3 years managing direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of various financial markets.
- Experience covering breaking news in competitive environments
- Experience writing and editing financial market

Compensation
- $170,000-$210,000.
