- This role is a key contributor to our month-end close process and plays an important part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct flux analysis as a core member of the close team
- Partner with the accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide actionable financial insights that inform smart business decisions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- You'll work cross-functionally to provide actionable insights that help drive sound business decisions, while also jumping in on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needs arise.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly across teams, and is eager to grow alongside a dynamic and fast-paced company.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or active progress toward certification preferred
- 0-2 years of accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools such as Claude to improve efficiency and streamline accounting workflows
