About the role

  • TrendAI is seeking a skilled Applied AI Sr.
  • As we expand the teams of front-end developers and creating web experiences at scale, you will be the architect of high-performance, content-rich web experiences that showcase our security innovations to the world.
  • You won't just use AI tools, you will help champion the adoption of AI-enabled development and define the best practices that will shape our future workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Design the Modern Web: Design and implement the development of modular, high-performance websites using Astro, React, and TypeScript.
  • You'll evaluate and implement AI agents (such as Claude Code, Kiro, and GitHub Copilot) to accelerate the team's delivery, ensuring these tools are used ethically and effectively to maintain high code quality.
  • Builder & Teacher: While you continue to build complex features independently, you will also dedicate time to mentoring junior developers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively manage uncertainties and identify opportunities for architectural growth, staying current with the modern front-end ecosystem (e.g. visualization, signal, browser APIs etc.).
  • Design the Modern Web:
  • Design and implement the development of modular, high-performance websites using Astro, React, and TypeScript.
  • Quality Engineering: You will set the standard for testing, lead a test-driven approach by incorporating unit tests and employing end-to-end frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.

Requirements

  • You have a deep understanding of web performance, SEO, GEO and modern browser APIs.
  • AI Tooling Proficiency: Proven experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and a willingness to experiment with modern AI web technologies (e.g. CopilotKit, AG-UI protocol, AI SDKs).
  • CMS Experience: Proven experience working with Headless CMS platforms, specific expertise with Sanity is a significant advantage.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront, IAM) and a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK).
  • Senior Technical Expertise: Extensive experience building production-grade websites with Astro, React, and TypeScript. You have a deep understanding of web performance, SEO, GEO and modern browser APIs.
  • Styling Mastery: Mature-level knowledge of Tailwind CSS and experience building or maintaining design systems using component libraries like Preline, Flowbite, or DaisyUI.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a growth mindset.
