Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem participants to develop a strong sourcing network
- Develop investment theses through deep research into emerging market trends
- Perform financial analysis including building financial models, valuations, comparable analysis, cap table and waterfall modeling
- Support portfolio companies on corporate strategy, business development, and other high-priority initiatives
- Build Dream Teams.
Requirements
- Investors at Galaxy Ventures operate with a high degree of autonomy and are expected to contribute meaningfully to investment decisions, including presenting thesis-driven opportunities to Galaxy's investment committee.
- Associate: 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field
- Strong quantitative skills including financial modeling (DCF, LBOs, cap tables, liquidation waterfalls) and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and emerging AI tools
Compensation
- $150,000 - $175,000 USD
