- What you'll be responsible for: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing the property's laundry operations, ensuring clean, well-maintained linens and terry are consistently available for guest use.
- This role plays a critical part in supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining an adequate supply of high-quality linens and providing a clean, organized, and efficient laundry operation.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and terry following established SOPs and brand standards.
- Sort and inspect linens for stains, tears, or excessive wear, removing damaged items from circulation.
- Treat stained linens using approved cleaning methods and products.
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of clean linens and communicate shortages to management.
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping and collect soiled linens on a regular schedule.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, stocked, and free of safety hazards.
