About the role

  • CT Technologist II: Level II is intended for candidates with approximately 1-3 years of CT experience, current ARRT (CT) certification, and demonstrated clinical competency in both routine and advanced CT imaging protocols.
  • Technologists at this level are expected to be proficient in ultrasound-guided and pediatric IV placements, Cardiac CTA studies, and post-processing for 3D reconstructions.
  • Familiarity with the imaging equipment and workflow at Denver Health is also expected.

  • On-the-job training is available to support your advancement to this level.

Requirements

  • Level I is intended for candidates right out of school or with less than 3 years of experience, or individuals still working on developing expert-level competency.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required and
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required and
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required

Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge in how to operate CT equipment and related technology.
  • Knowledge of how to address age-specific care needs of patients.
  • Demonstrated technical skill sets in the performance of CT studies.
  • Competency in interpreting physician order requests for CT imaging studies.
  • Ability to exercise prudent judgment in selecting and configuring equipment settings to compensate for patient physiologic variances.
  • Ability to consistently produce quality images of various anatomical structures.
