About the role

  • The Northern Arizona VA is seeking two Emergency Medicine Physicians to serve as Fee Basis providers on an intermittent schedule.
  • What is Fee Basis: Fee Basis appointment are temporary appointments for professional and technical occupations under Title 38 of the United States Code, Section 7405(a)(2).
  • These appointments are suitable only for work compensated per task or procedure, not based on time.

Requirements

  • The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
  • PRPs must be fully licensed physicians (i.e., not a training license) and may only be appointed on an intermittent basis.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
