About the role

  • We're looking for a business-minded Commercial Counsel with experience drafting and negotiating sales agreements with leading global and domestic organizations.
  • This is a full-time position based out of one of our US offices.
  • Ironclad, SFDC, AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Harvey)

Responsibilities

  • Support Fivetran's sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, and related amendments
  • Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and RevOps to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business risk
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail, with demonstrated self-initiative that drives a desire for impact and achievement.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and technology contracting issues in a B2B SaaS context
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfort advising non-legal stakeholders
  • Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
  • CIPP (US) certification is a plus.

Compensation

  • $175,214 - $210,265.50 USD
