About the role
- CSI Pharmacy is a rapidly growing national specialty pharmacy.
- Summary This position is available for licensed Registered Nurses (RN).
- Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, the role involves performing a range of technical, clerical, clinical, and general infusion nurse tasks related to home infusion services.
Responsibilities
- Additionally, the role supports pharmacy operations through quality control activities, maintenance of pharmacy and nursing records, inventory management and preparation of medication orders.
- Maintain a consistent work schedule, committing to a minimum average of 32 hours per week, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week as needed.
- Identifies, documents, and communicates any potential risks, adverse reactions, or complications associated with infusion therapy in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Provides clinical feedback and collaborates on care plan adjustments based on patient response, condition changes, or reported concerns.
- Maintains thorough and accurate documentation of the infusion process, including patient responses, adverse events, and medication administration details.
- Collaborates closely with the nursing team, pharmacists, and pharmacy staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care and effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Whether you work directly with patients or behind the scenes in support of the business and its employees, you will use your expertise, experience, and skills to support our patients and our mission.
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel up to 2 hours out from Dallas, TX to see patients in their homes
- Provide in-home infusion therapy as a full-time infusion nurse, with regular travel required to patient residences.
- Support clinical and operational efficiency by performing administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Supervisor to meet required hourly commitments.
