About the role
- Wondering what your day-to-day could look like as our new Sr.
- In this role, you'll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB).
- This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA's) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
- Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong ownership mentality
Requirements
- The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout Ontario.
- Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.
- Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required
Skills
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years' of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
- Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred
- Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)

Compensation
- $95,000 - $115,000 + annual bonus
