Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading and financial systems using Core Java and Spring Framework.
Design and implement multi-threaded, concurrent, and scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.
Architect and optimize SQL queries and work with caching solutions such as MemSQL to ensure fast data retrieval and system efficiency.
Work on cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms to deploy, manage, and monitor applications.
Support and troubleshoot live trading systems, ensuring high availability and low latency.
Collaborate with global teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Our global consulting firm combines creativity and innovative technology to deliver industry-leading digital solutions.
Through research and development initiatives in our FinLabs we develop solutions for modernization, from Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain to Data Science models, Digital Underwriting, mobile-first applications and more.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within capital markets, debt capital markets, and financial operations, with a proven track record of designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and resilient systems.
This role requires a deep technical expertise, with the ability to lead and collaborate within a global team, communicate effectively, and deliver robust solutions that meet the demanding needs of financial markets.

Spring Framework: 5-10 years of experience with Spring Core, Spring Boot, and associated projects.
Multi-threading & Low Latency Development: Proven experience designing and implementing multi-threaded, low-latency, high-frequency trading or financial systems.
Database & Caching: Expertise in SQL, with experience in query tuning
knowledge of caching solutions such as MemSQL, Redis, or similar.
Capital Markets & Debt Capital Markets: Prior experience in capital markets, especially debt instruments and related financial operations.
Financial Operations: Strong understanding of financial workflows, settlements, and operational processes (beneficial).
5-10 years of experience with Spring Core, Spring Boot, and associated projects.

Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $120k - CAD $140k/year & benefits (see below).
