1-3+ years of relevant experience in industrial process equipment and/or capital project environments
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Experience gathering, documenting, and communicating technical project requirements
Experience estimating overall and engineering project costs
Experience working with ISO9001 or similar quality system
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools and methodologies
Essential Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and personal management skills
Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment
naturally curious
Experience with CAD software/tools
AutoCAD 2D/3D and/or SolidWorks preferred
Experience with analysis and simulation tools
SolidWorks FEA and CFD preferred
Experience with process diagramming and flowcharting tools
Microsoft Visio preferred

Range: The base salary range for this position is $74,129.60 - $111,194.41 per year.
This range represents the Company's good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.
Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans.

The Mechanical Engineer - Process & Mechanical will support the execution of industrial and capital projects from concept development through startup and commissioning.
This role offers a dynamic mix of technical design work, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on project support.
As a key contributor, you will develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), heat and material balances, and equipment specifications, while participating in design reviews, requirements gathering, and vendor coordination.
You will create detailed engineering drawings and process models using CAD and simulation (FEA & CFD) tools, and support the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
Support Process & Mechanical Engineering Projects
Develop Technical Designs and Documentation
Create drawings, schematics, and diagrams utilizing CAD, process diagramming, and process simulation software/tools (FEA & CFD).
Support, and occasionally lead, the development and writing of technical reports and project documentation.
Collaborate and Grow Professionally
Work closely with a senior or principal engineer mentor to define and execute personal and professional development goals, including pursuing your Professional Engineer (PE) license.
