Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of relevant experience in industrial process equipment and/or capital project environments
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and communicating technical project requirements
  • Experience estimating overall and engineering project costs
  • Experience working with ISO9001 or similar quality system
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • Essential Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and personal management skills
  • Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • naturally curious
  • Experience with CAD software/tools
  • AutoCAD 2D/3D and/or SolidWorks preferred
  • Experience with analysis and simulation tools
  • SolidWorks FEA and CFD preferred
  • Experience with process diagramming and flowcharting tools
  • Microsoft Visio preferred

Compensation

  • Range: The base salary range for this position is $74,129.60 - $111,194.41 per year.
  • This range represents the Company's good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.
  • Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
  • In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans.

  • The Mechanical Engineer - Process & Mechanical will support the execution of industrial and capital projects from concept development through startup and commissioning.
  • This role offers a dynamic mix of technical design work, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on project support.
  • As a key contributor, you will develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), heat and material balances, and equipment specifications, while participating in design reviews, requirements gathering, and vendor coordination.
  • You will create detailed engineering drawings and process models using CAD and simulation (FEA & CFD) tools, and support the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
  • Support Process & Mechanical Engineering Projects
  • Develop Technical Designs and Documentation
  • Create drawings, schematics, and diagrams utilizing CAD, process diagramming, and process simulation software/tools (FEA & CFD).
  • Support, and occasionally lead, the development and writing of technical reports and project documentation.
  • Collaborate and Grow Professionally
  • Work closely with a senior or principal engineer mentor to define and execute personal and professional development goals, including pursuing your Professional Engineer (PE) license.
