About the role

- Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Senior Cyber Underwriter - Belgium & Netherlands.
- The Senior Cyber Underwriter will be contributing to the growth and development of a book of profitable and diversified Financial Lines and Cyber insurance business.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing relationships with clients and brokers while also developing new business opportunities.
- Contribute to build a well-diversified and balanced book in terms of risk profile and segmentation.
- Perform contract negotiation, attending and travelling to brokers meetings and conducting underwriting reviews.
- Experience in building and growing a profitable Cyber Insurance book in the European markets.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Cyber Insurance markets, regulation and products
Nice to have
- Affinity with Financial Lines products is a plus.
- Dutch and English at working level.
- French is a plus.
Skills
- Excellent networking skills and relationships with clients and brokers in Belgium and/or Netherlands.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
