Responsibilities
- Perform all logistics-related tasks in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), guidelines, and internal directives.
- Ensure the site maintains audit readiness at all times.
- Develop and maintain a Customs/Trade Compliance guide to ensure all exports and imports flow successfully through customs.
- Identify and implement projects and process improvements to enhance compliance with brokers, clients, and across the network.
- Maintain the site's Known Consignor status and C-TPAT status, and drive attainment of AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) status for the site.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization, including proper management and use of instruments, devices, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyse domestic and international shipping documents, contracts, and procedures in a timely manner.
- The Compliance/Customs Lead serves as the primary technical subject matter expert for all import/export, transport, and trade compliance activities at the site level.
Requirements
- Identify, collect, and coordinate all necessary data elements and documentation required for compliant, prompt, and effective export and customs entry of international cargo.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Prior Customs Brokerage experience is a plus.
Compensation
- $71,250.00 - $102,916.66
- All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.

Visa & Work Authorization
