About the role

Team member will be able to troubleshoot issues to ensure all electrical and mechanical components are in good working order throughout the plant.
Well versed in troubleshooting PLCs & control circuits.
Able to troubleshoot control circuits with limited supervision.

Set up & troubleshoot A/C drives.
Perform basic electrical calculations.
Perform tasks with all electrical test equipment (multi meters, meggers, current generators, Hart communicator, etc.)
Perform soldering operations.
Troubleshoot and maintain motor control circuits.

5+ years electrical experience, and demonstration of safe work practices.
Basic electrical and safety knowledge required.
Candidate must be able to pass an electrical assessment test and have a minimum of 200 hours logged working under the supervision of an Electrician.
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair parts on drives.
Must be able to troubleshoot hydraulic systems and air cylinders.
E.g. Replacement of bearings, idlers, dust collector bags, gearboxes, and drive belts will be required.
Must be able to disassemble and rebuild all types of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical program, or equivalent experience in industrial background.
