About the role
- At Rula, maintaining high trust with payers, patients, and providers is the bedrock of accessible mental healthcare.
- We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our nascent Trust & Safety Engineering team within the Provider organization.
Responsibilities
- A passion for and ownership of mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.

Requirements
- 4+ years of SWE experience, 1+ years working on Trust & Safety systems & 1+ years of experience helping with a brand new project or team
- Experience working on cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups
- Microservice development knowledge and experience
- Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)
Nice to have
- Start-up experience
- Experience with "on-call", ability to deep dive complex issues and drive them to resolution independently
- Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka
- While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory.
