Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant hands-on technician work experience in aerospace, aviation, military, telecommunications or similar industries.
  • Including demonstrable working knowledge of, but not limited to: PCB, cable harness fabrication, electro-mechanical, mechanical, integration assemblies, and prototype development
  • experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word), shop floor management software (ERP) and related programs
  • Strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, adherence to corporate policies and standards, a great attitude, and the ability to effectively work with a team
  • As such, US person status (including US citizens, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted U.S. asylum status, or individuals admitted in U.S. refugee status) is a required qualification for this position.
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills, and high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging flight production clean room environment
  • 1+ years of experience working at a rocket launch facility and supporting launch campaigns
  • Associate Degree in electrical discipline.
  • Manufacture and soldering of electronic components to NASA workmanship standards using IPC-J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards
  • Manufacture electrical cable and harnesses to IPC-A-620 standard
  • Current or past certification for NASA-STD-8739.4, NASA-STD-8739.6, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of ANSI S20.20 Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standard and 5S methodologies
