About the role
- Giga has recently raised a $61M Series A and has several paying customers, including DoorDash. We're building the next generation of customer experience — real-time AI agents that can understand emotion, resolve issues instantly, and scale across the world's largest enterprises.
- It's an exciting inflection point for the company. While we have been successful, we have larger ambitions. Our goal is to become the go-to AI platform for all enterprise automation, powered by our voice superintelligence. To achieve this, we need more great engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own the Frontend: Rapidly contribute to our products & lead development of design systems.
- Craft Seamless UX: Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces for enterprise users.
- Technical Leadership: Drive technical decisions and architecture design, shaping the foundation of our solutions.
- UI/Design System Skills: Comfortable implementing design systems & working closely with designers.
- Develop yourself alongside top-tier engineers and founders
- Rapidly contribute to our products & lead development of design systems.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces for enterprise users.
- Growth: Develop yourself alongside top-tier engineers and founders
- You'll lead the design & development of our frontend applications that customers interact with daily - working closely with product, design, and backend engineers.
- Partner with founders and cross-functional teams to turn big ideas into clear plans, drive sprints, and land high-impact releases.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience with Javascript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Degree from a top-tier engineering program
- We're seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer with deep prior experience with building functional & visually appealing user experiences and features.
- Exceptional Frontend Engineer: 5-7 years of experience with Javascript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js
Skills
- Entrepreneurial: Preference for candidates with experience at successful startups - former founders are especially valued
- Strong Background: Degree from a top-tier engineering program
- Committed: Willing to be present in-office for all work days. No remote.
- Interview Process
- Screening call w/ Recruiting Lead (20 min)
- Intro call w/ Founding Engineer (15 min)
- Live coding round w/ Founding Engineer (1 hr)
- In-office interview (full day)
