Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define category requirements, develop sourcing strategies, evaluate award scenarios, and deliver successful sourcing engagements that align with business goals.
- Represent the organization professionally with suppliers and external partners, leading sourcing events with integrity while driving strong commercial outcomes and supporting budget commitments through audits and performance reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting solutions that strengthen procurement operations, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, including Finance and other key partners, to review sourcing outcomes, support audits, and ensure alignment on transition plans, savings opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Support training, cross-training, and development efforts to build team capability, maintain process compliance, and encourage innovation, accountability, and productivity.
- Maintain knowledge of procurement practices, sourcing tools, and relevant systems, while assisting with strategic projects.
Requirements
- Progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or category management.
- Experience leading sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
- Proficiency with procurement systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience managing indirect spend categories in a corporate environment.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret spend data, assess opportunities, and support savings initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, process discipline, and team development.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
