Work independently while assisting attorneys in the legal process necessary for conducting company business.
Review, analyze and summarize issues involved incoming litigation or administrative actions.

Organize, assemble and interpret records and documents.
Support litigation matters and act as a general litigation assistant throughout pendency of lawsuits.
Type/generate pleadings and legal documents and related correspondence for assigned staff counsel, as well as memos, letters, charts.
Schedule and record all appointment dates for attorney meetings such as depositions and court hearings and maintain appointment calendar.
Provides office administration support on an as needed basis, which may include mail processing, data input, courier activities, budget administration, payment processing and notary services.
Establishes and maintains a series of files for each case or matter along with a corresponding electronic diary system.
Contacts appropriate organizations as directed to obtain documents.
Manages correspondence for key dates and names.
This job requires the ability to perform duties contained in the job description for this position, including, but not limited to, the above requirements.

Associates degree as a Legal Assistant, completion of an ABA approved Legal Assistant training program OR extensive experience in a position performing Legal Assistant functions
Initiates, completes and submits routine forms required by courts or regulatory entities.

Work Environment
Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come in to an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities.
Most employees will be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or team-building events.

ACG's Compensation philosophy is to provide a market-competitive structure of fair, equitable and performance-based pay to attract and retain excellent talent that will enable ACG to meet its short and long-term goals.
ACG utilizes a geographic pay differential as part of the base salary compensation program.
Pay ranges outlined in this posting are based on the various ranges within the geographic areas which ACG operates.
Salary at time of offer is determined based on these and other factors as associated with the job and job level.
Legal Assistant will earn a competitive salary of $28.00 to $32.00 an hour with annual bonus potential based on performance.
