About the role
- This position will work at the Main Lab (Corporate Lab) for Valley Medical and Wellness, located in Burnsville, MN.
Responsibilities
- Perform Instrument maintenance on AU480, Shimadzu LCMS and temperature/humidity monitoring.
- Lab Technologist II is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the toxicology and molecular workflow to support and maintain timely and accurate testing.
Requirements
- Prepare Standards, Quality Controls, Internal standards and other reagents required for optimal functioning of analytical testing.
- Utilize knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in LC/MS/MS methodology to perform root cause analysis and instrument troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Shift flexibility is required based on testing volumes and may vary based upon business needs and growth of laboratory services.
Skills
- Recent (within the last 2 years) experience performing fundamental LC/MS operations. ASCP accreditation strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and proficiency in LCMS instrumentation troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CLIA & CAP regulatory practices or other lab accreditation programs.
