  • As a Marina Attendant with Norfolk County, you'll help keep the Port Dover Harbour Marina safe, clean, and welcoming by maintaining facilities, assisting boaters, and supporting daily marina operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily written records of work related activities, including daily circle checks on all equipment and report defects to the immediate supervisor or designate.
  • Maintain good relations with all marina patrons and the public, including fielding general inquiries.
  • Your work will enhance the visitor experience, support waterfront recreation, and ensure the marina operates efficiently throughout the season.

Requirements

  • Participate in the set up and take down of required equipment and items needed for special events (i.e. picnic tables, tables, chairs, etc.).
  • You will be required to work in an outdoor environment in all elements (i.e. hot and cold weather).

Nice to have

  • Enrolled in Highschool, University or College.
  • Previous experience in janitorial, horticulture, landscaping, carpentry, boating an asset.
  • Boaters Operating Card License preferred.
  • Standard First Aid with CPR Level C preferred.
  • Able to lift 35 Ibs.
