About the role
- This role is responsible for observing, reporting, and documenting routine and irregular activities, responding to emergencies, managing access control, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV and access control systems; perform basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain effective communication during routine operations and emergencies.
- Provide investigative support and handle confidential information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to maintain vigilance and situational awareness at all times.
Requirements
- The hours for this position are Wed- Sun 2pm-10pm/ Overtime required as needed** The Security Officer provides safety and security for designated property and personnel.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to wear PPE and remain on foot for extended periods.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in using security systems (CCTV, access control, radios, etc.).
Nice to have
- Two (2) years of physical security experience, or
