About the role
- Your work will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and operational success of every robot deployed by 1X.
- Improve application performance, responsiveness, and usability while maintaining high engineering quality and reliability.
- Establish frontend architecture, component libraries, and engineering best practices that enable rapid product development across the platform.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, or real-time data streams into production applications.
Skills
- Experience with real-time data visualization using WebSockets, gRPC, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with robotics platforms, autonomous systems, IoT devices, or industrial automation.
- Experience with cloud-native environments such as AWS, Kubernetes, or distributed systems.
Compensation
- 175,000 - $215,000 + Equity

- Comfortable leading technical initiatives and operating independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
