About the role
- Conduct analyses of business elements and pricing information of offers/quotes (price/cost analysis).
- Prepare and review contract documentation in accordance with the FAR and applicable agency supplements.
Responsibilities
- Perform cradle-to-grave contracting: acquisition planning, solicitation development, evaluation, award, administration, and closeout.
- Track milestones, support corrective actions, and ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
- Connexus is hiring a Contract Specialist II to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support to a federal civilian agency's Office of Acquisition Services.
- You will perform the full range of pre-award and post-award contracting actions, including business and pricing analysis of offers and quotes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least five (5) years of experience in cradle-to-grave contracting.
- Current or previous FAC-C certification (or civilian equivalent) required.
- Maintain Public Trust suitability and complete required agency security training.
Nice to have
- one base year plus option years).
- Previous ICE (Integrated Contracts Expert) experience.
Visa & Work Authorization
- citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation
