About the role
- This role is a 20 hour a week, part-time position on-site at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in Naples, Florida.
- Assist Facility members with various daily operations and complete daily work orders.
- Work with Volunteers to supervise campus cleanup and boardwalk repairs

- 0-1 years' experience in building trades, grounds support, or related fields.
Requirements
- High School, GED or Vocational required.
- Experience fostering inclusive and collaborative work environments is valued.
- Experience with basic trades including carpentry, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing troubleshooting.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with other staff and interact positively with visitors to the sanctuary and others in the community.
- Commitment to Audubon's organizational values of care, collaboration, change, integrity, impact, and innovation.
- 0-1 years' experience in building trades, grounds support, or related fields. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Valid U.S. driver's license - transport equipment, run errands, and drive to auxiliary work sites.
- Must demonstrate pride and ownership in their work.
- Must possess good judgment and be able to work independently under minimal supervision and be part of a team.
- A flexible approach to work and willing to work various hours to support Visitor Center and Sanctuary needs.
- Highly ethical, honest, and reliable.
- Must maintain a high level of accuracy and be detail oriented.
- Commitment to safety through strict adherence to health and safety requirements.

Compensation
- $19.00 - $20.00 / hour
