  • You'll play a key part in training welders, supporting weld tests, verifying procedures, and maintaining compliance with AWS and customer standards.

Responsibilities

  • Weld Training & Instruction - Provide hands‑on guidance to welders, support new‑hire weld tests, and help develop skill‑building training modules.
  • Technical Support - Provide guidance to welders and production teams on best practices, quality expectations, and corrective actions.
  • Quality Documentation - Maintain detailed inspection reports, weld maps, and traceability records.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify non‑conformances, recommend corrective actions, and support follow‑up resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to teach, coach, and support welders.

  • Proficiency with inspection tools and documentation.

Nice to have

  • Additional NDT certifications (UT, RT, MT, PT).
  • Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Prior experience training welders or supporting weld tests.
