About the role
- Freddie Mac's SFPS Division is currently seeking a Securities Modeling Analyst, who will be responsible for cash flow modeling for Agency CMO transactions as a member of the Multiclass Securitization team.
- The team is responsible for executing Single Family structured securitization transactions to ensure soundness of structure and accuracy of disclosure to investors, and to facilitate bond administration.
- This group focuses on managing, informing, and influencing the investor base and expanding the company's securitization capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analytics and critical reporting across mortgages, pools and CMO bonds.
- Maintain documentation on modeling procedures and business rules. Prepare for audit-proof transaction records.
- Support various departmental business management and reporting activities
- Provide analytical and operational support for special initiatives and one-time projects.
- This person will also help support business management activities and reporting for the Securitization department.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- 1-2 years' Programming experience in SQL, Tableau, Python, or SAS.
- Working knowledge of Intex applications (IntexCalc and DealMaker) or comparable cash flow modeling tools.
- Employees exercise this responsibility by executing against policies and procedures and adhering to privacy & security obligations as required via training programs.
- Exposure to AI powered tools such as Claudi models, Amazon Q Developer or Kiro.
- Highly proficient in use of MS Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Compensation
- This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $78,000 - $118,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
