Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and distributed systems.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, testing methodologies, and source control systems.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with scalable, high-availability systems.
- Required
- Experience designing and developing commercial software applications.
- Agentic mindset with a proven track record of leveraging AI coding tools- such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or OpenAI Codex - to meaningfully accelerate delivery, not just as a novelty but as a core part of your workflow
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred
- Experience developing SaaS, IoT, analytics, or data-driven applications.
Nice to have
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices for software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications and services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level software engineers.
- Influence technical direction and contribute to engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve product performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
- Provide regular status updates on project work, milestones, dependencies, and technical risks.
