About the role

  • Work alongside with all electricians, apprentices, and other assigned personnel in Shop 25. a.
  • Exterior lighting system installation and maintenance. c.
  • Fire alarm system testing, operation, repair, and maintenance. d.

Responsibilities

  • Follows work flow provided by shop foreperson, maintains tools, materials, transportation, and information necessary for his/her duties and successfully accomplishes work assignment.
  • Helps Foreperson and Sub foreperson maintain records and assist in providing information for preparing reports on repairs accomplished, maintenance needs, preventive maintenance, and systems redesign.
  • Follow and comply with prevailing codes of the university and University Building Standards as well as correct procedures and techniques.
  • Cooperates with fellow members of shop 25, and other F S shop members and customers and maintain a cohesive group.

  • Provides electrician skillset to the required tasks, report to the foreperson. b.
