Responsibilities
- Quantium partners with the world's largest corporations to forge a better, more intelligent world.
- Our US team partners with major retailers, banks and other enterprise clients across the country, embedding AI and data science solutions into everyday business processes.
- As Director, Data Science, you'll lead the technical direction for our Consumer & Retail data science team, managing a team of data scientists to build AI applications that solve real client problems.
- You'll combine deep technical expertise with people leadership, translating emerging AI capability into practical, production-ready solutions, while contributing to business development and building capability across the team.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex AI solutions, evaluating alternative approaches and setting technical standards for production-grade AI development across the team
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI solutions from design through to production deployment, balancing technical excellence with commercial pragmatism
- 7+ years' experience in data science, AI/ML solution delivery or technical consulting, with a track record of leading teams to deliver production-grade AI/ML solutions

Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), containerization and cloud-native development
- Experience with effort estimation, scoping and contributing to business development activities
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
