Requirements
- Strong understanding of payment systems, transactional integrity, and high‑availability architectures
- Ability to guide architectural decisions without needing to be the primary implementer.
- Security & Compliance: Experience delivering systems subject to security standards and certifications (e.g., PCI‑related frameworks)
- AI & Modern Engineering Practices: Working knowledge of AI‑assisted software development tools and workflows
- Ability to identify high‑leverage AI use cases while avoiding risk in safety‑critical domains
- Experience applying AI to improve developer productivity and operational insight without sacrificing quality.
- Experience operating at Director altitude, balancing strategy, execution, and people leadership
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be able to commute daily to Plano, TX.
- Working knowledge of AI‑assisted software development tools and workflows
- To The Table - Qualifications
- Software Engineering & Architecture: Deep experience building cloud‑native, distributed systems in production
- Strong instincts for designing systems that are secure, auditable, and certifiable.
- Leadership & Systems Thinking: Proven ability to lead multi‑team engineering organizations, including contractors
- Strong communicator capable of aligning engineers, product leaders, and executives around complex technical goals.
