About the role
- A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead volunteer teams that support Central Office functions.
- Champion and help create a warm, welcoming environment for guests, vendors, volunteers, and staff- offering drinks, opening doors, and making every guest feel genuinely cared for.
- Own the daily Prayer Update All Staff email process, gathering campus information and ensuring timely distribution Monday-Friday.
- Lead the way with a welcoming experience for new staff on their first day; partner with the Team Development & Resourcing team to serve as a frontline presence in welcoming new team members and ensuring a welcome flag is set up.
- Own conference room readiness: ensure markers, tissues, and supplies are stocked, rooms are tidy and presentation ready.
- Manage mailboxes, including label materials and distribution processes.
- Own monthly mail machine and copy machine logs.
- Support the Accounting department with specific mailings; payables weekly and 90 Day Tithing Challenge; assist staff with various administrative projects as needed.
- Own the overall cleanliness, organization, and welcoming atmosphere of the Central Office environment.
- Own birthday card coordination for Central Office staff (and all staff, as capacity allows).
Requirements
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and computers, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and willingness to learn church management software.
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices.
- Support LCBC's mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.
Nice to have
- Regularly attend and participate at LCBC prior to and/or upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience with inventory management, supply ordering, or facilities coordination is a plus.
