About the role

Appointments are available on either the tenure track or clinical scholar track, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is undergoing transformative growth, with a fully implemented subspecialty practice model supporting a high-volume and diverse case mix.
Tenure track appointments are full-time with an initial probationary period of seven years.

This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position.
Work Experience: Experience in research, with a focus on cancer biology or related discipline.
Significant contributions in professional and academic service are required for both paths.

Robust publication record and an independently funded research program (or strong potential for sustained external funding).

Regular Time Type:

The department performs over 7 million laboratory tests annually and accessions over 65,000 surgical pathology cases, providing exceptional opportunities for clinicopathologic correlation and translational research.
