About the role
- include monitoring Distribution Center for Regulatory and customer compliance.
- Following up on quality issues as they relate to inventory as well as customer complaints received.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the QA Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform audits on the receiving process daily (i.e., completion of receiving records, product and trailer conditions, product temperature, barcodes scanability, etc.).
- Perform sanitation inspections of warehouse & deli areas for cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift overhead up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in both warm and cold environments
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and be capable of withstanding: loud noises, fast-moving machinery, etc.
- Travel required about a 40% between New York and New Jersey Distribution or other facility if needed.
- Must have excellent oral/written skills at a technical and general level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
Compensation
- Based on experience, rate per hour $19.58 - $29.36
