About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Terabase Energy.
- You will be important to the success of our innovative solar construction approach by keeping our equipment in the highest operational state.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing our pre-assembly factory comprised of customized mechanical systems, motors, actuators, sensors, basic electrical and vehicular systems.
Responsibilities
- To fully unlock the potential of this opportunity, Terabase is developing an interconnected software and construction automation platform.
- We work alongside project developers, owners, and engineering & construction firms to support the design, optimization, and construction of huge solar projects around the world.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all mechanical/electrical equipment Correct Tier 1 issues and elevate issues to Tier 2 support engineers with discretion.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- 80% travel required to project sites across the United States.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred.
