About the role

Responsibilities

  • The head coach is responsible for implementing a Division I Intercollegiate Lacrosse program while developing departmental and University policy.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and prior lacrosse coaching experience at the collegiate level are required.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • A thorough knowledge of the game of Lacrosse.
  • The ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes.
  • Required Document Attachments:
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and prior lacrosse coaching experience at the collegiate level are required. Candidates with a master's degree and prior experience coaching at the Division I level are preferred. Candidates must have NCAA Recruiting Certification: completed annually prior to July 31st.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of NCAA rules in relation to men's lacrosse.
  • NCAA Recruiting test which allows the coach to recruit off-campus
  • Knowledge to identify prospective student-athletes who can be successful in a rigorous academic and athletic environment.
  • A thorough knowledge of the game of Lacrosse. The ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes.

Compensation

  • Candidates must have NCAA Recruiting Certification: completed annually prior to July 31st.
