About the role
- Provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests and prescribe medication for children and adults.
Responsibilities
- Ability to perform a head to toe preoperative assessment on all patients and reassesses as needed.
Requirements
- Makes decisions reflecting knowledge of facts, knowledge of diseases/surgical conditions, care required and good judgment.
- Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care as indicated and evaluates for effectiveness.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
Skills
- Demonstrates competence and skill in the in the application of knowledge.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age and gender.
