Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience is required, with 10 years of legal experience strongly preferred.

- The ideal candidate brings: excellent judgment discretion strong communication skills high attention to detail executive presence the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives What You'll Do As Corporate Counsel, you will provide strategic and practical legal guidance across all areas of bank operations, including: Advising executive leadership and department leaders on legal risk and regulatory matters Providing counsel on federal and state banking laws and compliance requirements Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, vendor agreements, and commercial loan documents Supporting legal matters related to lending, deposit operations, marketing, HR, and vendor management Overseeing legal aspects of collections, foreclosures, and repossessions Assisting with board governance, resolutions, and corporate records Partnering with compliance and risk teams on regulatory initiatives Monitoring legal and regulatory changes impacting the banking industry Managing relationships with outside counsel and litigation support partners Supporting new product launches and strategic business initiatives What We're Looking For: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in the state of Arkansas Prior in-house banking or financial services legal experience strongly preferred Experience advising senior leadership and boards Strong knowledge of: banking regulations BSA / AML consumer protection laws fair lending contract negotiation regulatory compliance vendor oversight Experience: A minimum of 5 years of legal experience is required, with 10 years of legal experience strongly preferred.
