About the role
- ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: By having a vast background of mechanical knowledge, the individual in this position will be able to analyze and locate the source of mechanical trouble in the District's vehicles.
- Responsible for the diagnosis, assignment, and repair of the District's fleet.
- Assist in maintaining a current inventory of supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Automotive and/or Diesel Mechanics from an approved
- understanding of and proficiency in transportation mechanical repair.
- Must have School Bus Certification or willingness to obtain.
Nice to have
- Must have a CDL with air brake, passenger endorsement preferred.
