About the role
- We're seeking energetic individuals with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude.
- The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while operating extrusion equipment and ensuring finished products meet company quality standards.
- This position plays an important role in helping the plant achieve its safety, quality, production, and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to company policies, procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
- Perform quality inspections using PI tables, micrometers, and ovality gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance activities on production lines, including cleaning vents and equipment components.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of equipment operations, safety features, and process steps.
- Collaborate effectively with production personnel and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience performing Packager duties.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Make adjustments to the extrusion process as required to maintain product quality.
- Complete all required production, quality, and operational documentation accurately.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous Machine Operator experience preferred.
- Experience using PI tables, micrometers, and ovality gauges preferred.
