  • T-Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Ft.
  • Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.

Responsibilities

  • The ClassifyIT team is seeking a system engineer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications.
  • The position involves documenting the full life cycle design, development and testing of policy-driven software across multiple fabrics.
  • Attention to detail is needed to test new software releases and document results.
  • Analyzes user requirements, the concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develops technical documentation.
  • Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 8 years.
  • 3+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Working experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with Wiki
  • Experience in AWS (ability to navigate AWS dashboards & services)

  • Triage user issues
  • Track and respond to user issues/questions
  • Establish internal schedules and milestones
  • Report weekly/monthly/quarterly status in a timely manner
  • Document processes and provide deliverable to the government
  • Provide meeting minutes
  • Ability to test new configurations/software releases
  • Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios
  • Track and report testing results
  • Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations
  • Contribute content for the development of high level documentation and guides
