Responsibilities
- Summary In addition to the responsibilities listed below, the Senior HVAC Controls Engineer is responsible for the overall success of software design, program creation, and the implementation of procedures and standards used in the programming of controls projects.
Nice to have
- Breakdown scope of work into manageable segments and communicate to Project Manager / Engineering Manager for scheduling.
- Creating and routing project programming specific "Request for Information" (RFI) documentation to Systems Engineer, Project Manager, and Engineering Manager.
- Following sequence of operations as required by project documents and develop engineered sequence of operations and commissioning documents, utilizing established standards.
- Startup and commissioning of large systems, such as AHUs, chiller plants, or other utilities systems.
- Includes installation/configuration of workstations, servers, and network.
- Software programming of HVAC/utilities sequence of operations, installation, and commissioning.
- Experience with BACnet MSTP and BACnet IP networks preferred.
- Configuration of alarming and reporting of automation systems.
Compensation
- DOE: $105,000-$148,000yrly
